With a unique blend of skills, creativity and a true love of food, both Mike Adley & Damo Holder aim to deliver fragrant and wonderful cuisines to give all taste buds an ultimate treat. With our diverse offering of exquisite wines, The Chequers of Yelden welcomes you to a new kind of dining experience.

Bound in to Spring with our Tapas menu bursting with fresh Spanish food. Here you’ll find a feast of foodie delights to welcome in the warmer weather and lighter nights.

Our main menu is available Tuesday to Saturday & offers a fabulous variety of dishes from traditional favourites such as Hand Beer-battered Fish to a slow Braised Lamb Shank and the Grill Centre that includes all your favourite steaks with a variety of sauces, toppings & sides to accompany your selection. Sharing platters and pizza boards, sweets & artisan cheeses, Sunday lunch served from 1pm until 6pm, Golden Oldies lunchtime specials with 2 courses for £7.00, there is something for everyone & all dishes are freshly prepared to order.
